Mechanical Fuel Pump Block-Off Plate Kit | Lycoming Engine Applications
A simple, reliable solution for Lycoming engines where the engine-driven mechanical fuel pump is not being used.
This Lycoming Mechanical Fuel Pump Cover Plate and Gasket installs over the mechanical fuel pump mounting location on compatible Lycoming accessory cases. The cover plate closes the unused fuel pump opening, while the included gasket provides the proper sealing surface between the plate and accessory case.
Ideal for airboat, experimental, custom engine, and other applicable installations using an alternative fuel-delivery system where the mechanical fuel pump has been removed or is not required.

Airboat Applications
A particularly useful component for Lycoming-powered airboats that have been configured with an electric or alternative fuel-delivery system and no longer utilize the accessory-case-mounted mechanical fuel pump.
Popular airboat engine families covered include:
Lycoming O-320 • O-340 • O-360 • IO-360 • O-540 • IO-540
Important Fitment Note
Lycoming engines were produced in numerous configurations and may have been modified during their service life. Verify your exact engine model, accessory-case configuration, mounting pattern, and fuel-system requirements before installation. Removing or eliminating an engine-driven fuel pump requires an appropriately designed fuel-delivery system.
